Michelle Vest, LPC, has been licensed in the state of Arkansas as a Professional Counselor for 22 years.    She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. Additionally, she has a Master in Rehabilitation Counseling.  She has worked in the Community Mental Health setting in outpatient and day treatment services.  She was also at the forefront of initiating school-based programs to assist   children and their families in the Izard County School Districts.  She has extensive experience in helping with grief, relational issues, difficulty coping with life stressors, anxiety, depression, non-combat related trauma, ADHD, and with families and individuals learning to cope with Autism Spectrum Disorders.   She most frequently uses Cognitive Behavior techniques with her clients while still using an individualized approach to help her clients reach their goals.
